High school counselor, Yvette Diaz and middle school counselor, Jose Villafuerte
During this National School Counselor Week, we are proud to honor Alliance counselors and their dedication and commitment to helping our students get accepted to and graduate college.
It is their dedication to our students and the close work to help prepare students for college that was instrumental in helping us identify the Power 150™Index, colleges and universities with the highest minority graduation rates of 75% or higher.
Their enduring work with our students is changing lives.
Friday, February 10th, counselors were treated to a special luncheon in their honor. Alliance CEO Dan Katzir also had the privilege to announce the Alliance Middle School and High School Counselors of the Year.
Congratulations to Yvette Diaz, Alliance High School Counselor of the Year and Jose Villafuerte, Alliance Middle School Counselor of the Year!
Yvette Diaz is a counselor at Alliance Dr. Olga Mohan High School and Jose Villafuerte is a counselor at Alliance College-Ready Middle Academy 4.
