Smaller schools allow scholars to develop strong, lasting relationships with peers, teachers, and counselors. Alliance teachers foster personalized instruction to better support individual student’s needs and share their ongoing progress with families.
As we strive to become truly anti-racist and pro-Black school system, Alliance aims to ensure that all scholars, families, and staff feel seen, heard, and supported throughout our schools. To everyone’s benefit, we’ve bolstered these efforts through increased access to mental health providers and culturally-responsive counselor support.
One of our wellness partners is Hazel Health. Hazel Health is a new telehealth service that is available for every Alliance scholar to access free virtual mental health sessions during school hours.
For nearly 20 years, Alliance has delivered exceptional educational opportunities to our scholars throughout Los Angeles, and 96% of our graduates are accepted to college. That’s why Alliance scholars and their families trust us with their education and their futures.
In California, charter schools are public schools, which means they’re open and free to all students. While all Alliance schools are overseen by the Los Angeles Unified School District, they outperform neighboring public schools in all categories of student learning.
