ABOUT THE PROGRAM

At Alliance, we believe in shaping educators who will not only transform classrooms but also leave a lasting impact on their scholars and communities. As an Alliance Teacher Resident, you’ll embark on a transformative journey that paves the way to becoming an exceptional educator. Our innovative program blends a yearlong, hands-on apprenticeship combined with mission-aligned credential coursework. You’ll spend four days a week at an Alliance school, gaining real-world experience working with scholars, while dedicating one full day a week to credential coursework.

We offer credentials in mathematics, English Language Arts, social science, science, Spanish, and Special Education. Upon successfully completing the program, you’ll earn a Preliminary Credential and be eligible for a full-time teaching position at Alliance.

At Alliance, we aren’t just building careers—we’re building a community. With a competitive starting salary of $70,000, along with professional development, coaching, and growth opportunities, we invite you to make Alliance your forever home—a place where you can evolve, lead, and inspire future generations.
