Join an Alliance Community Charrette focus group and make your voice heard in 2024!

We need your voice to define and shape the future of education in Los Angeles! Join Alliance College-Ready Public Schools as we host a series of community focus groups throughout Los Angeles. We want to hear directly from community members, so tell us: “What does a thriving community look like to you? How can local schools help your community to thrive?” Help us reimagine how schools and communities can work better together.

Coming to a neighborhood near you!
South Los Angeles: Thursday, February 8th from 5-8PM (hosted in collaboration with Community Coalition)
Downtown Los Angeles: Thursday, February 15th from 5-8PM (hosted in collaboration with…)
East Los Angeles: Thursday, February 22nd from 5-8PM (hosted in collaboration with Inner City Struggle)

Register to vote, research candidates, and show up at the ballot box on March 5, 2024 for the LAUSD School Board primary election. Use your voice and support candidates who support your local schools!
Attend LAUSD’s next Board Meeting (in-person or online) from 1:00-5:00 PM PST on February 13, 2024.
Check out this MSNBC national television program, which discusses diversity and community healing and features scholars from Alliance Kory Hunter Middle School.
Participate in a Weekly Community Clean-up with scholars from Smidt Tech’s Environmental Club.
Volunteer at an Alliance College and Career Fair to support our scholars on their road to success.
Mentor a scholar and help them build confidence in their field through the Alliance Internship Program.
Join the Alliance Scholar Success Board or become a part of the Scholar Success Volunteer Network.
