Alliance High Schools Close College-Readiness Gap; Outperforming State Averages in English and Math

2017 CAASPP Results Show Innovative and Scholar-First Approach Working for Thousands of Children

Los Angeles— Alliance high schools significantly outperformed neighboring schools as well as district and statewide averages in English Language Arts (ELA) and math — closing the gap in college-readiness that has burdened students from low-income families for decades — according to the 2017 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) which was released today.
