ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Alliance Teacher Residency Program pairs you with a mentor teacher so that you enter the classroom ready to teach on day one.
We have partnered with Marshall Teacher Residency that has a values-based approach to teaching and learning.
During this one-year teacher residency program, residents will receive financial aid that covers living expenses for one year, a $32,500 Alliance scholarship and a $20,000 Marshall living stipend.

Effective classroom management skills for a collaborative classroom culture
The design and execution of intellectual preparation lesson planning
Asset-based and culturally responsive teaching practices
Data-driven instructional strategies to promote scholar learning
EARN
A California Preliminary Credential – available Credentials are Single Subject English, Math, & Science (Biology, Physics, or Chemistry)
A scholarship for living expenses of $52,500 for the duration of the one-year residency
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree (or expected bachelor’s degree in May 2023)
