Ranked as one of the best high schools in America and a California Distinguished school, Alliance Piera Barbaglia Shaheen Health Services Academy employs the theme of health care to provide scholars with rigorous college-preparatory instruction and application-based curriculum.
Alliance Gertz-Ressler High School, a public charter high school, is a diverse, committed community that provides a rigorous, personalized, standards-based curriculum in a supportive environment that prepares all scholars for entrance into and success in a four-year college or university.

Principal
Zonz Ouattara has over fifteen years of experience in education. Mr. Ouattara moved to California in 2019 to join the Alliance PBS HSA community as a school dean. He helped establish positive school culture practices to promote scholars’ sense of belonging. He later became an assistant principal before becoming principal.
He first launched his career in education as a founding staff member for a charter school in Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Ouattara has held roles in school operations, as a teacher and as a school leader in New York managing and establishing student-centered school culture practices and new-staff orientation for the network.
