  • Alliance Burton Tech High School is a free public charter school, focused on ensuring a rigorous, compassionate, and transformative education for the improvement of the South LA community.
  • We understand that each scholar has individual needs and pride ourselves in the level of support we provide to our scjp;ars. Individualized supports include: after school tutoring, saturday tutoring, socioemotional supports, academic counseling, IEP supports, and EL supports.

Rogelio Sanchez

Jr. Principal

Principal Profile

Rogelio Sanchez, Jr. became the principal of Alliance Judy Ivie Burton Technology Academy High School in 2014. Before joining Alliance Burton Tech, Mr. Sánchez spent five years at Alliance Patti & Peter Neuwirth Leadership Academy, where he began as a physical education teacher, and later became the school’s assistant principal. Previously, Mr. Sánchez served as an athletic coach for various teams at SouthEast High School and James A. Garfield Senior High. Mr. Sanchez is also on the Los Angeles City Section CIF Board of Managers, as well as on the Executive Committee.
